IPS's Casing Inspection Tools
Searching for, acquiring, and utilizing the industry's leading edge technologies is something we strive to acheive. An example of this is our new casing inspection tool. The MIT (Multifinger Imaging Tool) is a 40 arm caliper, internal measurement device with a logging range from 70 mm to 177.8 mm.
The MTT (Magnetic Thickness Tool) has an external and internal measurement device which induces an electromagnetic field around the pipe that measures amplitude, phase change and travel time. It's an excellent tool for satisfying all aspects of EUB Directive 51, and for detecting pipe wear, failures, and corrosion.
